Началось всё с безобидного прикручивания плугинов. В результате обновил весь движок WP с 2.1.3 до 2.2.2. Собственно, ради секьюрити и виджетов. Пришлось править код напильником снова, благо там немного, чтобы заработали прикрученные ранее к 2.1.3 плугины. Из изменений:

плугин Dan’s Avatar Thingy - аватары для зарегестрированных пользователей, т.е. получается для меня

З.Ы. А мне нравится! И по-моему мне не кажется, действительно странички стали генерироватся быстрее. Они обещали некоторое улучшение перформанса - похоже не наврали. Гуд!

After writing only few posts and having info for few ones more, an idea has born in my head to setup a CMS or Wiki to store “locally” all manuals/howto’s/other docs, which are at least mentioned in my posts, so that readers could access it right here. (more…)

I didn’t think it will be so difficult for me. I’ts really awfull!!!

I reviewed almost all themes on themes.wordpress.net, and tested about 100+ of them - and i didn’t found any that had all that i wanted. So, for now this blog will live with this default ( rather pretty, but not unique ) theme. Maybe i’ll review the ones i i downloaded and change my mind, but i don’t think so.

The good thing is that i finally decided how i want my theme to look like, which visual features it must have, how the layout will be organized and which fonts i’ll use. I think that the first beta of my theme will come out in about a month.

Finally, i’ve got it! yep, this is my blog, and this is the first post in it… it was rather difficult for me to choose a theme, i didn’t find what i _REALLY_ wanted, but someting like that… I need to work on an image, which is in the header, but really have no time - spent about an hour above planned. So for now i left the default theme, it displays all info i want and in the way i like

And, yes, i decided to blog in english. Maybe to attract as many readers as i can and not to lose them due to russian; maybe just to practice my english, which skills i lost during last few years. Anyways - for now i’ll write in English and _only_ English, but i promice to do my best to make russian translations of at least the most interesting articles as soon as possible!
